Lea Desandre returns to the Salzburg Withsun Festival, in Hotel Metamorphosis, a Vivaldi pastiche inspired by Ovid’s Metamorphosis, conducted by Gianluca Capuano in a staging by Barrie Kosky. She performs alongside Cecila Bartoli, Nadezhda Karyazina, Philippe Jaroussky and Angela Winkler, from June 6th to 8th. She then joins luthenist Thomas Dunford for their programme Idylle at the Dresden Festspiele (on the 11th), at the Konzerthaus Dortmund as part of her Junge Wilde residency (the 17th), in Aix-en-Provence (the 22nd), at the Festival d’Auvers-sur-Oise (the 26th) and in Espinho (Portugal – the 28th).
