The Quatuor Arod is back with a new album, the complete Opus 76 of the father of the string quartet, Joseph Haydn, on November 14th. On this occasion, the quartet is on tour in Reutlingen (on the 13th) and in Norwich (on the 22nd). They also conclude their Leipzig residency at the closing concert of the Mendelssohn-Festtage alongside violist Sindy Mohammed and clarinetist Karl-Heinz Steffens (the 8th). They are returning to the Wigmore Hall alongside Thibaut Garcia for an homage to Leo Brouwer (the 21st). They are inaugurating their new programme with Pierre Génisson, “The Fields of Freedom”, dedicated to forbidden music, as part of their collaboration with La Belle Saison, in Cherbourg (on the 25th).
