Created in 2011 by the conductor Marc Minkowski, the classical music festival Ré Majeure brings together each year for a weekend on the island of Ré several generations of musicians. Opera, chamber music, recitals, masterclasses: Ré Majeure has welcomed Jean-Claude Casadesus, Jean-François Heisser, Marianne Crebassa, the Diotima Quartet, Manu Bigarnet’s equestrian company, Rachel Yakar, Alphonse Cemin, Guillaume Vincent, Alexandre Tharaud and Les Musiciens du Louvre.
