The quartet is on tour in the Aix area from July 3rd to the 5th, and is giving a concert on the 8th in Aix-en-Provence, where it is performing notably Schoenberg’s Second Quartet. July 2018 is also the month of the quartet’s North American’s debuts. The musicians are giving a masterclass and a concert at the Festival de Lanaudière in Québec, in a program consisting of Haydn, Webern and Schumann.
Thibaut Garcia on tour in France and in Italy
Thibaut Garcia returns at the Festival Radio France in Montpellier on July 13 and 14, along with his scene partner, soprano Anaïs Constans, in a Spanish recital. He is also in recital in France and Italy in July: on the 6th at the Escapades Musicales, on the 8th at the Quatuor Debussy Festival, for a concert with flutist Philippe Bernold, and a second one with violinist Michael Guttman. From the 16th to the 20th he is performing in Italy, in the Parma area, and he is giving a final concert on the 29th at the Musicales de Kercorb.
Maxime Pascal in Berlin
Maxime Pascal makes his Staatsoper Berlin debuts in July. He is conducting again the opera Ti vedo, ti sento, mi perdo by Salvatore Sciarrino, which he conducted for the World Premiere in November 2017 at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. Anne Gastinel is part of the jury of the Schoenfeld Competition, which is an international violin and cello competition taking place in Harbin, China. As part of this project, she is performing with Harbin Symphony Orchestra and is giving a recital at the Harbin Concert Hall on July 26 along with pianist Dmitriy Cogan, in a program which consists of works by Schubert, Beethoven, Debussy and Franck.

Pierre Dumoussaud is on French tour in July. He conducts Karine Deshayes (Charlotte), Jean-François Borras (Werther), and Jean-Sébastien Bou (Albert) as well as the Les Forces Majeures Orchestra in Werther by Jules Massenet, on July 22 at the Opéra de Vichy. On July 28 he conducts the Orchestre Symphonique de Musique en Ré, in Mendelssohn’s Symphony n°3, as well as the violinist Sarah Nemtanu in Paganini’s Violin Concerto n°2.
Shani Diluka returns at the Festival La Roque d’Anthéron
Shani Diluka is starting a collaboration with the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, under the baton of Ben Glassberg, first prize of the Besançon International Competition for Young Conductors 2017. They are recording the Concerto in D minor by CPE Bach, which they are also performing at the Festival de La Roque d’Anthéron on July 24, as well as WA Mozart’s Piano Concerto n°20 in D minor, marking Shani Diluka’s return in this great festival.
Jupiter at the Festival de Saintes
After its triumphant debuts at the Würzburg and Saint Denis Festivals, Jupiter – the ensemble founded by Thomas Dunford – is giving its Vivaldi program again, along with Lea Desandre, for the overture of the Festival de Saintes, in the abbey of the Abbaye aux Dames, on July 13.
Timothy Ridout joins L’Agence!
The English altist Timothy Ridout, aged 23, has joined L’Agence! As the great winner of Lionel Tertis and Cecil Aronowitz international competitions, Timothy has gone on to perform widely in Europe for two years now. In December, the Quatuor Arod is unstoppable! The musicians are on tour across the world to introduce their new album dedicated to Mendelssohn. This month is the occasion for the quartet to make many debuts: on the 3rd, they are playing for the first time in Annecy. Then, on the 13th, 14th and 15th, they are making their Japan debuts (respectively on Yokohama, Tokyo and Kyoto). Pierre Dumoussaud conducts Violeta Cruz’s new work, La Princesse légère, at the Opéra de Lille. This opera, based on the eponymous tale by George MacDonald, “tells the story of a child with no sense of gravity, on every level”: this opera is centered on the lightness of both of the body and mind as well as on the world outlook that children can develop. For this production, Pierre Dumoussaud is conducting notably Jeanne Crousaud (the princess) and the Ensemble Court-Circuit (staging Jos Houben).

The tenor Damien Bigourdan retakes his role of Célestin in Mamz’elle Nitouche by Hervé. The Quatuor Arod is making his debuts at the iconic Salzburg Mozarteum on November 21: the quartet will give the fabulous Mozart’s String Quartet n°15 K.421 in D minor, their co-commissionned work Al’Asr by Benjamin Attahir, and the Quartet op. 13 by Mendelssohn, the composer to which they dedicated their first album, released last September. The quartet is also giving a Mozart-Mendelssohn-Schubert concert on the 30th in Frankfurt, in partnership with the Robert-Schumann-Gesellschaft.

Lea Desandre is unstoppable! After a first US tour in October, the French-Italian vocalist is giving a series of concerts, in the roles of Juno and Dido, respectively in Actéon by Marc-Antoine Charpentier and in the iconic Purcell’s Dido and Æneas, under the direction of William Christie and notably along with Reinoud Van Mechelen, on November 5 (Bogota), 7 (Walt Disney Hall, Los Angeles), 9 (Berkley) and 10 (Sonoma). Guillaume Vincent is on Ukrainian tour in November with cellist Yan Levionnois. These two friends and stage partners are giving two concerts, the first at the Kharkiv Philharmonie on November 14, and the second at the Kiev Philharmonie on November 16, for a program with works by Ginastera, Dvorak, Stravinsky, Rachmaninov and Piazzola. Two performances not to miss!
Anne Gastinel plays Schumann with the OPS
After a great success last season, Anne Gastinel plays again Robert Schumann’s Cello concerto in A minor op. 129 with the Orchestre des Pays de Savoir, under the direction of Nicolas Chalvin. She is performing on November 24 at the Centre des Congrès of Aix-les-Bains, and then on the 25th in Annecy, at Bonlieu – Scène Nationale.
Raphaël Pichon at the Philharmonie de Paris
After the first part in October, Raphaël Pichon returns to the Philharmonie de Paris for the second component of “Bach en sept paroles” (Bach in seven worlds). For this unique performance, Pichon conducts his ensemble, Pygmalion, along with, notably, the sopranoDorothée Mields in a program which consists of Bach’s cantatas ("Wir müssen durch viel Trübsal", "Ich elender Mensch, wer wird mich erlösen", "Wer weiss, wie nahe mir mein Ende", "Liebster Gott, wenn werd Ich sterben ?"), on November 21.
Thibaut Garcia on Australian and New Caledonian tour
After his European tour, Thibaut Garcia is flying across the world to give a series of recitals in New Caledonia and in Australia. He gives a few masterclasses and five concerts in which he will perform notably some works by Weiss, Bach, Barrios, Albéniz… You can find him in concert on the 9th and the 10th November in Nouméa, on the 18th at the Mosman Art Gallery in Sydney, on the 22nd at the Melbourne Guitar Foundation and on the 24th at the Magda Community Artz in Brisbane.
Bruno Philippe and Tanguy de Williencourt to release their new CD
Joining the label Harmonia Mundi, Bruno Philippe and Tanguy de Williencourt present Beethoven and Schubert on their new CD (relase on September 22) by performing Kreutzer and Arpeggione Sonatas. To celebrate this release, they are performing on September 30 and October 1 at La Courrois (Avignon) as part of Harmonia Mundi Festival, and on October 20 at Salle Gaveau (Paris).
The Quatuor Arod releases its first CD !
After a fantastic summer tour, the Quatuor Arod is releasing its first CD with Erato/Warner Classics, dedicated to Felix Mendelssohn (Quartets op.44 n°2 and op.13, as well as the 4 pieces op.81) on September 29. They are touring all autumn lond in order to present this new recording, particularly at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord for the music season opening on October 2.
Bruno Philippe still in concerto
After his debuts at Berlin Konzerthaus in August, Bruno Philippe continues his concerto concerts. He is performing Haydn’s Cello concerto n°1 in C Major on September 23 with the Orchestre de Dijon, under the direction of Gabor Takacs at the Salle Flore in Dijon. He is also giving this concerto on September 29 with Frankfurt Orchestra, conducted by Christoph Eschenbach, at the Frankfurt Alte Oper.
Anne Gastinel in recitalAnne Gastinel is performing at the Mont Saint Michel for the first edition of the sacred music festival Via Aeterna. She is playing JS Bach’s Suites n°1 and n°5. Simone Dinnerstein returns to France and to the Toulouse-based festival by offering, on September 15, a program fully dedicated to Schubert and Glass, of which she premiered the third piano concerto. A night not to miss!
Lea Desandre in recital
After a concert at the Dans les Jardins de William Christie festival in August, Lea Desandre and Thomas Dunford are in recital at the festival de Fénétrange on September 24, for a program consisting of pieces by Strozzi, Bach, Monteverdi, Haendel and Frescobaldi. Lea Desandre is also performing with the Orchestre de Normandie on September 30 and October 1, for a program consisting of opera arias by Mozart, Haedel and Rossini.

Raphaël Pichon and Marc Mauillon at the Opéra-Comique
Marc Mauillon returns at the Opéra-Comique in a production of Miranda, vocal creation inspired by Shakespeare’s The Tempest, along with pieces of Henry Purcell, stages by Katie Mitchell. He is performing along with Katherine Wilson (soprano), Kate Lindsey (mezzo-soprano) and Allan Clayton (tenor), conducted by Raphael Pichon and his Ensemble Pygmalion. Do not miss them between September 25 and October 5.
Thomas Enhco on European tour
In September, Thomas Enhco is on tour with his longtime partner Vassilena Serafimova. The Funambules duet is presenting its explosive and airy program in four countries: France, Austria, Croatia and Poland. You can see them on the 16th at the Septembre Musical de l’Orne, In Salzbourg on the 19th in Samobor (Croatia) on the 26th, and on the 29th and 30th in Warsaw.
Thibaut Garcia on French tour
After the success of his Aranjuez Concerto with the Orchestre de Cannes PACA and under the direction of Benjamin Lévy, Thibaut Garcia is the guest of several festivals in August. The young prodigy travels France for solo and chamber music concerts. You can find him on August 9 for a solo recital at the Promendes Musicales du Pays d’Auge, at the Musicales the Pommiers the 12th, alongside with Liya Petrova and Elise Thibaut (violins), Adrian and Christian-Pierre La Marca (viola and cello). He is also playing at the Classiques du Prieuré on the 17th and the 18th, and on the 20th at the Moments Musicaux du Quercy.
Maxime Pascal in Salzburg
Maxime Pascal conducts the prestigious ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien at the Salzburg Festival in Les Espaces acoustiques – Cycle de six pièces pour diverses formations by the composer Gérard Grisey, with the violist Mario Gheorghiu. You can see him on the 16th at the Kollegienkirche, for a one-time performance.
Guillaume Vincent returns to Deauville
After being a part of the Easter Festival, Guillaume Vincent returns to Deauville to perform in the Août Musical. You can find him on August 4 for a performance of Ravel’s Trio with Omer Bouchez (violin) and Yan Levionnois (cello), as well as the 9th for a concert in which he will perform extracts from Heitor Villa-Lobos’s A Prole do bebê for piano, Poulenc’s Sonata with Victor-Julien Laferrière (cello), as well as Poulenc’s Sextuor for wind quintet and piano with the Ensemble Ouranos.
The Quatuor Arod still on tour
The Quatuor Arod continues his summer tour. After having given around 15 concerts in Europe in July, the quartet continues his festivals tour. The musicians are playing in Germany on the 3rd and the 19th, respectively at the Rheingau Musik Festival and at the Musikfest Bremen. He is notably playing on the 5th at the festival Musique en Pays d’Auge, on August 7 and 8 at the Festival de Salon (with Lise Berthaud and Eric Le Sage), on August 11 and 12 in Prades, the 15th at the Orangerie de Sceaux (with Marie-Josèphe Jude)…

Thomas Dunford is unstoppable! In August, you can see the lutanist on a French and European tour. He is giving a duet concert series with Jean Rondeau, on August 1 in Italy, at the Festival du Périgord Noir on August 8, and at the AMUZ festival on the 27th. He is also performing with his trio Jasmin Toccata on the 4th at the Festival du Haut Limousin. He is also giving recitals, solo on August 3 in Coutances, with Anna Reinhold at the Château de Rieux on the 6th, and at the Kilkenny Festival on the 13th, with Iestyn Davies.
Bruno Philippe in concerto in Germany
Bruno Philippe is in Germany in August 2017, for a concert series with the Schlewsig-Holstein Festival Orchestra, and under the direction of Christoph Eschenbach. He is giving Joseph Haydn’s Cello concerto No 1 in C major at the prestigious Berlin Konzerthaus, and also the Cello concerto No 1, Op. 136 by Darius Milhaud on the 20th at Rendsburg-Büdelsdorf.
Marc Minkowski at the Drottningholms Slottsteater
After an unanimous success in Tokyo, Marc Minkowski conducts Cosi fan tutte at the Drottningholms Slottsteater, closing his Mozart trilogy Da Ponte alongside with Ivan Alexandre (stage director). He is conducting the Drottningholmsteaterns Orkester, and notably the vocalist Jean-Sébastien Bou in the role of Don Alfonso. You can see this production on August 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19 in Stockholm.

Thomas Enhco is on a French tour in August. He is giving concerts as part of duets, trios and quartets. You can hear him on the 11th as part of the Trio Casadesus-Enhco, on the 25th in Saint-Paul-Trois-Chateaux with David Enhco, Stephan Kerecki and Daniel Humair, and also with Vassilena Serafimova in Cabourg on the 2nd and in Onzain on the 26th. The Funambules duo is also invited in Los Angeles on the 21st, for an event on the work “Eclipse”.
Shani Diluka at La Roque d’Anthéron
Shani Diluka returns to the festival La Roque d’Anthéron. She is playing on August 4 at the Parc du Château de Florans. She is giving the emblematic program La Symphonie des Oiseaux, along with the violinist Geneviève Laurenceau and the birds singers Johnny Rasse and Jean Boucault. You can hear this unique and poetic quartet at the Parc du Château de Florans at 6 PM.
Thibaut Garcia on French tour
After his American and European tour, Thibaut Garcia is touring France in July. You can see him playing with the soprano Anaïs Constans on July 13 in Toulouse and the 15th in Sorèze (81). He is also playing in recital on the 21st, the 22nd and the 23rd as part of the Festival Radio France Montpellier Occitanie. Finally, he is giving the Aranjuez Concerto with the Orchestre de Cannes PACA, under the direction of Benjamin Lévy, notably as part of Debussy Festival.
Maxime Pascal at the Capitole
In July, Maxime Pascal is conducting the Orchestre National du Capitole in Toulouse, in a program that consists in works of the great orchestral repertoire: Le Tombeau de Couperin by Ravel, the Horn Concerto n°3 in E flat major, K.447 by Mozart (horn: Jacques Deleplancque) and the Symphony n°8 in G major, B. 163, op. 88 by Dvorak. They are playing this fabulous program on the 16th in the Halle aux Grains.
Guillaume Vincent launches his own festival
Guillaume Vincent shows again his versatility: this year, he creates, as an artistic director, his own festival, Musique à Beauregard, who takes place in Thönes (74) from July 20 to 22. He is performing on July 20 and 21 along with Yan Levionnois, Jeanne Gérard, Tatiana Probst, Beija Jeanzac, and is closing the festival on the 22nd with a recital entirely dedicated to Liszt’s works.
The Quatuor Arod on European tour
The Arod Quartet is unstoppable! This month, the musicians keep up a busy schedule on the road, and tour many festivals. You can see them, in France: in Bellême the 2nd, in Colmar the 8th, in Margaux the 11th, in Toulouse the 12th, in Saintes the 15th, in Saint-Agrève the 19th (on a quintet program with Mathieu Herzog – viola), and on the 20th at the air base of Casaux. In Switzerland, in Geneva on July 13, in the Netherlands on July 21 at the Wonderfeel Festival, and in Germany on July 9 (Nuremberg), 26 (Bad Doberan), 29 (Herrenchiemsee) and 30 (Icking).
Lea Desandre returns to Aix Festival
This year, Lea Desandre is back to the International vocal arts festival in Aix en Provence. After Zoroastre by Rameau last year, the young mezzo-soprano performs the role of Flerida in Erismena by Cavalli, under the direction of Leonardo García Alarcón (staging Jean Bellorini). You can see her on July 7, 9, 12, 15, 16, 18, 20 and 21 at the Théâtre du Jeu de Paume.

After having made a great impression in Brussels, at the Queen Elisabeth Competition, of which he was laureate in June, Bruno Philippe is on a French tour in July. You can see him on July 4 at the Château d’Agassac (33) for a recital with Hervé N’Kaoua (piano), then on July 11 at the Chorégies d’Orange with his long-time music partner Tanguy de Williencourt (piano). He also plays in Paris on July 18 along with Bertrand Laude (clarinet) and Tanguy de Williencourt.
Pierre Dumoussaud conducts Romeo and Juliet
Pierre Dumoussaud conducts the iconic Prokofiev ballet Romeo and Juliet, choreographed by Charles jude. The young conductor meets again with the Opéra National de Bordeaux-Aquitaine Orchestra, where he was assistant between 2014 and 2016. You can see him on July 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10 for performances who promise to be charged with Shakespearian tragic and Russian romanticism.
Thomas Enhco in residence at the Musiq’3 festival
Thomas Enhco is at the Festival Musiq’3 from June 30 to July 2. He is part of the opening concert of the Brussels festival, along with Beatrice Rana, Florian Noack and Patrick Leterme, with JS Bach’s Concerto for 4 Pianos (harpsichords) in A minor. You can also hear him on the 1st of July with her long-time partner Vassilena Serafimova, in a Funambules concerts. He is also performing jazz, with a concert of his trio on July 2.
Marc Mauillon joins L’Agence
L’Agence is happy to welcome a new vocalist: Marc Mauillon, “baritenor”! Come discover his timber at the Opéra Royal de Versailles in the role of Pélée in Alcione, along with Lea Desandre, on June 8, 10 11 and 13. Thomas Dunford never stops! In June, the young luthenist is on European tour for a series of solo and duo concerts. He is playing on recital on June 3 in Rougement (Switzerland) and on June 16 in Gregynog (UK). On June 4, he is playing in Würzburg (Germany), at the Mozartfest, with Julian Pregrardian. He is playing in France on the 8th, the 10th and the 11th, along with Lea Desandre and Marc Mauillon for the rerun of Alcione; but also on the 17th, with Oestyn Davies at the Festival de Saint Denis.
Shani Diluka on tour
The pianist Shani Diluka is on an Austrian tour with her chamber music partners Gabriel le Magadure (quatuor Ebène) and Valentin Erben (quatuor Alban Berg). They are performing the Schubert’s and Brahm’s Trios N°1, on June 20 at the Salzburg Mozarteum, and on June 22 at the Schwarzenberg Schubertiades.

The Quatuor Arod to return to Aix-en-Provence
After the recording of their first album, dedicated to Mendelssohn, in May, the Quatuor Arod returns to the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, where they had been appointed award winners HSBC of the Festival’s Academy in 2016. They will tour in Provence, performing on June 20 in Mallemort, on June 21 in La Penne sur Huveaune, and on June 22 in the Amphithéâtre Meynier d’Oppède, in Aix-en-Provence.
Lea Desandre to continue Alcione
Lea Desandre continues to perfom as the title role of Alcione, under the direction of Jordi Savall, but this time, at the Opéra Royal de Versailles. Thomas Enhco on tour with Vassilena Serafimova
After winning a second prize at the International Chamber Music Competition of Osaka, the duet Thomas Enhco/Vassilena Serafimova will be on tour in June to perform their vivid program. They are playing in Lille on June 10, at the Festival de Sully Loiret in Gien (45) on the 11th, and at the festival d’Auvers-sur-Oise on the 17th. The duet is also making its Polish debuts on the 14th at the Enter Music Festival, in Poznan.

Their month of May will be driven by Mendelssohn, iconic composer whose works will be the core of the recording of their first album (autumn 2017).

From May the 2nd to the 27th at the Palais Garnier, Maxime Pascal conducts the iconic Orchestre de l’Opéra de Paris in a selection of works by Maurice Ravel. Marc Minkowski and Guillaume Vincent in Lille on March 9 and 10

Bruno Philippe to play the Vivaldi’s Double Concerto at the Invalides
On October 17, 2016, the young cellist Bruno Philippe was awarded with the Safran Prize for Music 2016 and has since benefited from the kind patronage of the renowned cellist Henri Demarquette. The two musicians will play Vivaldi’s Double Concerto together with the Orchestra of the French Republican Guard on March 9, 2017, at the Cathedral of the Dôme-Saint-Louis-des-Invalides. Bruno Philippe will also perform Haydn’s first cello concerto.

Since its victory at the ARD International Music Competition 2016 in Munich, the Arod Quatuor multiplies concerts on international stages! Thibaut Garcia just released his new album, Leyendas
This is it, folks! Our young 22-year old guitarist just released his new album, Leyendas, with Erato/Warner! A truly enchanting program centred around Spanish and Argentinian composers which Garcia approaches with elegance and passion. With Albéniz, Falla, Rodrigo, Tarrega (and his famous and shimmering Recuerdos de la Alhambra), Manjón and Piazzolla, Garcia wished to unveil the magnificence of his instrument. An enchanting program, centred upon Spanish and Argentinian composers, approached with elegance and passion. Pierre Dumoussaud conducts the Orchestra of Real Filharmonía de Galicia
On January 26 and 27, Pierre Dumoussaud will have the pleasure to conduct the Orchestra of Real Filharmonía de Galicia in Santiago de Compostela, in a program exclusively devoted to Italy! First, Felix Mendelssohn will be honoured with his brilliant and famous “Italian symphony”. Then, the overwhelming symphony “Harold in Italy” will follow. This piece has been originally composed by Hector Berlioz and was dedicated to the virtuoso violinist Niccolò Paganini.

Bruno Philippe, winner of Safran Price
On October 17, the young cellist Bruno Philippe was crowned with the Safran Prize for Music 2016 and will enjoy the warm patronage of famous cellist Henri Demarquette. Rising star of the baroque stage, the mezzo-soprano Franco-italian Léa Desandre has already been revealed along with the most prestigious ensembles and conductors of the repertoire. The 7th edition of the Academy of the Jardin des Voix, which will revolve around the Italian culture, will be a wonderful opportunity to discover this young talent. Under the direction of William Christie, Lea Desandre will perform in the most famous halls in Tokyo, Seoul, Macau or Shanghai, in a program entitled An Italian Garden. Stradella, Vivaldi or Cimarosa’s pieces which are still unknown will be performed.
Marc Minkovski between the Opera national de Bordeaux and the Wiener Staatsoper
While he opened his successful first season at the Opéra national de Bordeaux with his original show Les Voyages de Don Quichotte, Marc Minkowski will go to the Wiener Staatsoper to deliver a new interpretation of the heroic drama composed by Gluck: Armide. Surrounded by the Musiciens du Louvre, the soprano Gaëlle Arquez (Armida) and the tenor Stanislas de Barbeyrac (Renaud), he will give five performances alternating with Alcina (Handel) on October 16, 19, 22, 25 and 29. He will finish this production with 2 performances in concert version, on November 6 at the Auditorium of the Opera de Bordeaux and on November 8 at the Philharmonie de Paris.
Kitgut Quartet joins L’Agence
String quartet playing on period instruments, the Kitgut Quartet is composed of the violinist Amandine Beyer and Naaman Sluchin, the violist Josèphe Cottet and the cellist Frédéric Baldassare joins L’Agence! Bruno Philippe, from Deauville to Liban : an exciting summer!
This summer, cellist Bruno Philippe will do an artistic residency at the Festival Radio-France de Montpellier: he will give five concerts including one on July 20th at the Salle Pasteur of the Corum in Montpellier, broadcasted on France Musique. He will also perform at the Rencontres Musicales d’Evian on July 5th with David Kadouch and Alexandra Conunova and at the Festival Août musical de Deauville on August 5th and 9th. Finally, he will perform in Tchaïkovsky’s Variations Rococo concerto with the Liban Philharmonic Orchestra on July 30th for the opening of the Festival of Sourat.
Two young talents at the Halle aux Grains with the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse
Thibaut Garcia will be pleased to perform Rodrigo’s Concerto d’Aranjuez with the Orchestre National du Capitole under the baton of Pierre Dumoussaud for a programme also composed of Gardel’s Golondrinas and Por una Cabeza, De Falla’s El Amor Brujo and Chabrier’s Habanera. They will play this programme on July 22th at 9:30 pm at the Halle aux Grains as part of the Festival Toulouse d’été. Korean Tour for Anne Gastinel
Cellist Anne Gastinel will be on tour in Korea from August 25th to September 5th for three concerts of chamber music. Quatuor Arod : Return to Denmark and summer tour
The Quatuor Arod will be at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence from July 3rd to 12th. Then, they will go to Denmark for a 3-date tour and will perform in Frederiksværk, Bornholm and Fanø. Back to France, they will perform at the Festival Musique à l’Emperi on July 30th and 31th especially with the violist Amihai Grosz. They will also be at the Festival Musique sur Ciel on July 24th with Mathieu Herzog and at the Festival de Menton on August 12th.

Pianist Guillaume Vincent will perform at the Festival de Pont-Croix on July 19th and 20th. This summer, alongside his jazz tour Thomas Enhco will do multiple classical projects. He will perform in recital at the Rencontres Musicales d’Evian on July 9th. Then, he will join Charles Hervet, Amaury Coeytaux, Stephan Genz, Michel Dalberto and the Choir of the Latvian Radio at the Festival of Radio France in Montpellier for a concert on July 19th. After his Asian tour at the Festival Croisements in the Forbidden City of Beijing, in Shenzen and at the City Hall of Hong-Kong during the French May with his Ensemble Pygmalion, Raphaël Pichon will conduct the entire series of Bach’s Motets. The Scala of Milan celebrates Ravel
Marc Minkowski will conduct the Orchestra and Choir of the Scala of Milan from May 17th to June 6th for a programme dedicated to the French composer Maurice Ravel. They will perform L’Heure espagole and L’Enfant et les Sortilèges with a distribution of French singers such as Marianne Crebassa, Stéphanie D’Oustrac, Yann Beuron, Jean-Paul Fouchécourt, Vincent Le Texier, Jean-Luc Ballestra, Armelle Khourdoian, Jerôme Varnier, Delphine Haidan and Anna Devin.
Damien Bigourdan, a Greek hero in Lille
Damien Bigourdan will play the role of Thésée in Jonathan Dove’s opera Le Monstre du Labyrinthe at the Opéra de Lille on June 3rd and 4th. This creation, staged by Marie-Eve Signeyrole and created in July 2015 in the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, involves 250 amateur singers (children, teenagers and adults) for a pedagogic and participative approach.
“Epic journey” for Anne Gastinel
Cellist Anne Gastinel will be on May 27th and 28th at the Folle Nuit de Noirmoutier along with Claire Désert, Olivier Charlier, Marie-Josèphe Jude and Abdel Rahman El Bacha. She will perform Chopin’s Sonate for cello and piano in G minor and his Trio for violin, cello and piano in G minor but also works by Mendelssohn and Liszt. Then she will go to the Festival Le Rivage des Voix in Saint-Florent le Vieil on May 29th to perform Bach’s Cello Suites n°2 and 4.

The Quatuor Arod will have the honour to take part in a masterclass by the great pianist Menahem Pressler, organized by Proquartet. The closing concert will take place on May 28th, at 4p.m. at the Auditorium of the CRR of Paris. Then, they will begin their summer tour in Calvinet on June 10th, in Rouen at the Rencontres Musicales en Seine et Marne on June 12th and finally at the Auditorium de la Dracenie in Draguignan on June 18th.

Pierre Dumoussaud will conduct the ballet Giselle, choreographed by Charles Jude, for 9 performances at the Opéra National de Bordeaux between May 20th and 29th. Then, he will lead the Orchestre symphonique Région Centre-Val de Loire Tours for the first time for 3 performances on June 3rd, 4th and 5th. Quatuor Arod: From Denmark to Morocco
After winning the First Prize, Special Prizes of the Carl Nielsen International Chamber Music Competition in Copenhagen last October, the Quatuor Arod will be back to Denmark for a concert in The Black Diamond on April 2nd. Afterwards, they will head south to go to Essaouira in Marocco where they will perfom as part of the Festival Printemps Musical des Alizés on April 29th.
Bruno Philippe on the lands of Yuri Bashmet
Bruno Philippe will have the honour to perform during the closing concert of Yuri Bashmet’s festival in Khabarovsk on April 14th. He will play Brahms’ Double Concerto for violin and cello with violonist Dami Kim and accompanied by the Far East Symphony Orchestra conducted by the Spaniard Aleksis Soriano.

Korean and European tour for Marc Minkowski
Conductor Marc Minkowski and Les Musiciens du Louvre will be on tour on March 5th, 6th and 8th in Seoul and Daejeon in South Korea. They will play Mendelssohn’s Scottish Symphony, Schubert’s Great Symphony and Rameau’s Une Symphonie imaginaire. Their programme “Le testament de Mozart” will bring them at the Philharmonie de Paris, at the Konzerthaus of Dortmund, at the Laeiszhalle of Hamburg but also in the Netherlands, in Spain, in France and in Poland from March 15th to April 1st.
Quatuor Diotima, 20 years already!
On February 21th, Quatuor Diotima celebrated their 20 years of existence at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord. This concert was also the opportunity to celebrate two important releases of the Naïve label: a five-CD boxset dedicated to the complete quartet music of the 2nd Viennese School of Music and the first CD of a new series of contemporary composer portraits. The first in the collection is dedicated to the works of Miroslav Srnka.
Quatuor Arod, their debut at Bozar in Brussels
After the Koncerthuset of Copenhagen, the Maison de la Radio in Paris, the Quartettissimo in Hungary and the Festivals of Verbier and Montreux etc…, the tour of Quatuor Arod’s tour with Death and the Maiden was completed in the Great hall of Bozar in Brussels on February 28th.
Guillaume Vincent in recital on France Musique
France Musique put the spotlight on the pianist Guillaume Vincent on March 3rd at 2 pm in Dominique Boutel’s radio programme Concert de l’après-midi by broadcasting his performance dedicated to Erik Satie. This concert, recorded at the Auditorium of the Musée d’Orsay on February 16th, was part of the complete music “C’est tout Satie”.
Festival Paris Music : Thibaut Garcia and the Quatuor Arod
For its first edition, the Festival Paris Music invites us to discover new talents and Parisian places. The young guitarist Thibaut Garcia will thus be playing on March 17th at 6:30 pm at the Atelier Delacroix. On March 18th at 7:30 pm, the Bibliothèque historique de la ville de Paris will welcome the Quatuor Arod for a performance of Mendelssohn’s Quatuor Opus 13 and Ligeti’s “Métamorphoses Nocturnes”.
Raphaël Pichon create the first opera played in France
After five performances at the Opéra National de Lorraine and two perfomances at the Opéra Royal de Versailles, Rossi's Orfeo of conductor Raphaël Pichon with his Ensemble Pygmalion is available on Culturebox. It was a French scenic creation staged by Jetske Mijnssen with a casting featuring young talents and experienced artists: Dominique Visse, Marc Mauillon, Judith van Wanroij, Francesca Aspromonte, Giulia Semenzato, Victor Torres…
Marc Minkowski, travelling across Europe
Marc Minkowski who has just closed the Mozartwoche in Salzburg of which he is the artistic director, will be on tour with the Musiciens du Louvre on February 7th, 11th and 12th in Frankfurt, Grenoble and Poissy with a program revolving around Mendelssohn. Then, he will celebrate Wagner and France at the Konzerthaus in Berlin on February 19th and 20th where he will open the Frankreich Festival. Finally, he will conclude this European month with Grieg’s Peer Gynt at the Konzerthaus in Vienna with the Wiener Symphoniker on February 27th and 28th.
Damien Bigourdan in the City of the Doges
The month of February promises to be intense for the tenor Damien Bigourdan who continues to tour with Hervé’s Les Chevaliers de la Table ronde, staged by Pierre-André Weitz from the 7th to the 13th of February at the Fenice. He will also stage Massenet’s Don César de Bazan with the Compagnie des Frivolités Parisiennes, whose premiere will be held on February 28th at the Théâtre de Saint-Didier and then on tour at the Théâtre de la Porte Saint-Martin in Paris, in Dreux and finally at the Opéra de Reims.
Thibaut Garcia in concert in Norway
The young guitarist Thibaut Garcia will perform at the Litteraturhuset in Bergen, Norway on February 17th in a program revolving around Latin America including Piazzola’s and Alebniz works. He will also give a recital on March 4th in Apt as part of the week-end dedicated to guitar.
Guillaume Vincent give recitals in Paris
The pianist Guillaume Vincent will perform at the Fondation Singer-Polignac during a recital devoted to Liszt on January 21th. We will also see him at the Auditorium of the Musée d’Orsay on February 16th, where he will take part in the rendition of Satie's entire piano repertoire. This series of 6 concerts will celebrated the composer's 150th birth anniversary.
Simone Dinnerstein at the Opéra National de Paris
From the 5th to the 20th of February, American pianist Simone Dinnerstein will perform Bach’s Goldberg Variations at the Opéra National de Paris. In 2007, her recording of this work generated enthusiasm and was named “Best recording of 2007” by The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times and The New Yorker.
Two important premieres for Pierre Dumoussaud
The young conductor Pierre Dumoussaud will conduct the Orchestre Régional de Normandie for the first time on February the 5th, 6th and 7th in a program “Jeunes Talents” devoted to Chopin and Mozart. He will also direct the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine during the “Presto Sympho” on Sunday, February 14th in Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony n°6.
A Parisian February month for the Quatuor Arod
On February the 1st, the Quatuor Arod will be recorded in public in Stéphane Godet's radio program Plaisir du Quatuor, on France Musique (at 7 pm at the Maison de la Radio). It will be broadcasted on February the 14th. They will also perform at the Centre de Musique de Chambre de Paris (Salle Cortot) on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights between the 4th and the 20th of February where they will play Beethoven's String Quartet n°15 Opus 132.
Thomas Enhco is recording for Deutsche Grammophon
The record session for the Deutsche Grammophon label just finished for the pianist Thomas Enhco and his companion Vassilena Serafimova, who will soon allow us to discover Bach, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Piazzolla etc. on piano and marimba!
Marc Minkowski at the Mozartwoche
From the 22th to the 31th of January, the 60th edition of the Mozartwoche will take place in Salzburg. Marc Minkowski, the artistic director of the festival will conduct the Vienna Philarmonic Orchestra, the Musiciens du Louvre and the Mozart Kinderorchester in works of Mozart, Mendelssohn and Haendel.
Night-time meetings for Quatuor Diotima and Bruno Philippe
The Quatuor Diotima will be joined by the cellist Bruno Philippe and the violist Marie Chilemme on January 18th at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord in Paris and on January 30th at the Auditorium Dutilleux in Douai for a program revolving around the theme of nightime. They will play Ligeti’s quartet Métamorphoses nocturnes, Dutilleux's Ainsi la nuit and Schoenberg's sextet La Nuit Transfigurée.

Quatuor Arod sails North
After winning the First Prize, the Prize of the best interpretation of Carl Nielsen and the Prize of the best performance of the work written specially for the competition of the Carl Nielsen International Chamber Music Competition Copenhagen last October, Quatuor Arod realizes its Berlin debuts in December at the Royal Danish Embassy.

Boisterous Schubertiade for Bruno Philippe
It is a marathon of nine Schubert concerts which is waiting for cellist Bruno Philippe at the brand new Centre de Musique de Chambre de Paris. He will perform with his fellows Tanguy de Williencourt on piano and Pierre Fouchenneret on violin till December 19 at the Salle Cortot.
Special Collaboration for the Diotimas
Quatuor Diotima plays again works of the American composer Hugh Levick : in December, the ensemble will record three quintets with tenor, percussions and piano for the Signature label of Radio France.

Marc Minkowski : new Mozart / Da Ponte Trilogy in Drottningholm
The conductor Marc Minkowski and the stage director Ivan Alexandre enjoy great success at the Castle of Drottningholm’s theatre in Sweden with Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro. This is a first step of a Da Ponte Trilogy which will include Don Giovanni in 2016 and Cosi fan tutte in 2017. The team will be soon reunited at the Chateau de Versailles next January with the Musiciens du Louvre.
Raphaël Pichon conducts Brahms
The conductor Raphaël Pichon will perform with the choir of Ensemble Pygmalion, as well as Chistian Immler and Chantal Santon, accompanied by the pianists Tanguy de Williencourt and Alphonse Cemin in the German requiem of Brahms, in two concerts on August 21 at the Heures Musicales de l’Abbaye de Lessay and August 24 at the Festival de la Chaise-Dieu.

Emmanuel Ceysson : Mozart
The harpist Emmanuel Ceysson is back in studio and is recording with his regular partner the flutist Philippe Bernold the Mozart's Concerto for flute & harp with the Paris Chamber Orchestra. The same team will perform this program in Paris on July 18th at Hotel de Sully and on July 20th in Saoû chante Mozart Festival.
Quatuor Arod at Festival de Verbier
Quatuor Arod will participate this summer to the prestigious Verbier Festival Academy (Switzerland) and has the opportunity to work with great artists and teachers. Among other performances, Quatuor Arod will have a concert with Martin Fröst (clarinet) at Verbier’s church on July 29th. They will be back in Switzerland for a concert at Festival Septembre Musical de Montreux on August 31st.
Guillaume Vincent on Festival’s road
The summer tour of Guillaume Vincent will lead him to Festival de Saintes with the Ensemble Aedes (July 17th), to Rheingau Musik Festival in Germany with Bruno Philippe (July 25th), Août Musical de Deauville (from July 29th to August 8th) and Festival de Pont-Croix (from 18th to 21st July) where he will perform with young talents of the Fondation Singer-Polignac.
Anne Gastinel on tour
This summer, the cellist Anne Gastinel is on tour with the Orchestre des Pays de Savoie, conducted by Nicolas Chalvin. She will play Haydn's Concerto No.2 in D Major. They will perform at the Festival des Arts Jaillissants in Montsapey, the Festival Saoû chante Mozart, the Festival Itinéraires Bis in Clermont-en-Genevois and the Festival Les variations musicales de Tannay.
Marc Minkowski : new position in Bordeaux
The conductor Marc Minkowski has been named Director or the Opéra National de Bordeaux by Alain Juppé, Mayor of the city. He will be in charge from June 2016. He will conduct his Musiciens du Louvre for the opening of the Salzburg Festival on July 18th with Haydn’s Creation.
Juliette Deschamps : new position in Pau
The stage director Juliette Deschamps has been charged by the mayor of Pau François Bayrou to develop a new theater policy/ a new policy for the theater and to strengthen its cultural influence. She will be in charge of the new theater season/ the new season of the theater (2016-2017) starting in 2016.
Bruno Philippe : winner of the awarded Révélation Classique ADAMI
Back from a German tour with the ARD competition laureates, cellist Bruno Philippe is awarded "Révélation Classique de l'ADAMI 2015". He will perform in July 2015 at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival and the Rheingau Musik Festival in Germany, at the Festival Jeunes Talent in Paris and at the Festival Pablo Casals in Prades.
Quatuor Diotima at Festival Manifeste / Ircam
The Quatuor Diotima ends his Bouffes du Nord 2014/2015 residency on June 15th. Returning to his core repertoire, the contemporary music - the musicians will create the Rune Glerup's quintet (with clarinetist Alain Billard) during the Ircam festival Manifeste in a concert bringing together Gervasoni, Ivan Fedele and Béla Bartók.
Emmanuel Ceysson “Goodbye Paris”
The harpist Emmanuel Ceysson has just won the prestigious Metropolitan Opera orchestra audition and is the new solo harp of the orchestra. For his goodbye to his French public, he gave a recital on June 4th at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord : which resulted in a tremendous success and a standing ovation from the audience! Guillaume Vincent at the Lille Piano(s) Festival
Just back from a Chinese concerts tour (in collaboration with the Festival Piano aux Jacobins), French pianist Guillaume Vincent is programmed for the 3rd time at the Lille Piano(s) Festival. Quatuor Arod : a new residence at ProQuartet
The Quatuor Arod is the new string quartet in residence at ProQuartet. They will be supported by the institution for some of their concerts, masterclasses or their international development. The Quatuor Arod will perform on June 12th at the Festival les Voûtes Célestes, on June 18th at the Fondation Polignac and in July at the Verbier Festival, the Artenetra Festival, the Jeudis Musicaux de Royan, and the Grésivaudan Festival...
Raphaël Pichon, Mozart at St Denis Festival
After Bordeaux and Toulouse, Raphael Pichon and his Ensemble Pygmalion will perform Mozart's Great Mass in C at the Festival de Saint-Denis (June 18th). Alceste by Marc Minkowski & Olivier Py, back at the Opéra de Paris
Marc Minkowski and his Musiciens du Louvre return to the Opéra National de Paris. From June 16th, they will revive the production of Gluck's Alceste staged by Olivier Py with a virtusoso set by Pierre-André Weitz. A new trio of singers - Véronique Gens, Stanislas de Barbeyrac et Stéphane Degout - will celebrate French opera.
Rameau’s Dardanus by Raphaël Pichon and Michel Fau
After his triumph at the Opéra de Bordeaux, this new production of Rameau's Dardanus, conducted by Raphaël Pichon with his Pygmalion Ensemble, and directed by Michel Fau, is moving to the Opéra Royal of Versailles.

Anne Gastinel : Beethoven’s Triple Concerto, Baptiste Trotignon’s Trio
Just after Beethoven’s Triple Concerto, which she has just interpreted with Gil Shaham and Nicholas Angelich, conducted by Paavo Järvi (see the video of the concert on hr-Sinfonieorchester website), the cellist Anne Gastinel is premiering at London’s Wigmore Hall the new trio by the jazz composer and pianist Baptiste Trotignon, with David Grimal and Philippe Cassard.
Pierre Dumoussaud at the head of the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine
The young conductor Pierre Dumoussaud has at the last moment replaced Alain Lombard at the head of the ONBA. A huge success with both the public and musicians with a programme of Strauss (Don Juan) and Beethoven (Third Symphony Eroica). On May 27th, he will be conducting the Orchestre d'Auvergne in a Mendelssohn/Tsintsadze programme.
Bruno Philippe: new CD and tour in Germany
Award winner and audience prize at the ARD 2014 competition, the cellist Bruno Philippe will be on tour in Germany in May 2015 (Schweztinger SWR Fespiele, Munich, Schwarzwald Musikfestival, Gauting Klassikforum...). On this occasion, a new CD devoted to Schumann and Brahms with the pianist Tanguy de Williencourt will be released on the Evidence Classic label.
Arod Quartet: on the Festival road
Even before the beginning of the summer - which will see them in particular participating in the Academy of the prestigious Festival of Verbier or the Aout Musical in Deauville – the young Arod Quartet is setting out on the festival road: after the opening of the Festival Quatuor à l'Ouest, they will be giving several concerts at the Festival Ré Majeure on the Ile de Ré (May 23 24) and the Festival of l'Epau (June 3 4).
Juliette Deschamps: residency at the Opéra de Montpellier
At the invitation of Valérie Chevalier, the director Juliette Deschamps is continuing her residency at the Opéra de Montpellier. After Le Projet Goldberg mingling Bach’s music and video and A DIOS Flamenco y Saetas, Juliette Deschamps is reviving A Queen of Heart with Rosemary Standley, before these two queens of hearts head back to the studio for a forthcoming CD.
Marc Minkowski: first Traviata at the Royal Opera House in London
The French conductor Marc Minkowski is continuing his collaboration with the Royal Opera House in London. After Mozart's Idomeneo at the beginining of the season, as of 19 May he will be conducting Verdi's Traviata in Sir Richard Eyre’s legendary production, with Sonya Yoncheva, Ismael Jordi, Franco Vassallo and Placido Domingo.
Guillaume Vincent in China
As part of the tour the Pianos aux Jacobins, the pianist Guillaume Vincent will be giving several recitals in China from May 18th in Suzhou, Tianjin and Beijing in a programme of Liszt (Ballade n°2, Rhapsody n°6, Mazurka brillante), Alkan (Sonatine) and Brahms (Klavierstücke opus 118).
Emmanuel Ceysson and the Diotima Quartet at the Festival Bru Zane
Emmanuel Ceysson will be giving on the June 4th at the Bouffes du Nord a recital devoted to French music (Pierné, Dubois, Debussy, Fauré, Renié...), a repertoire which he is also promulgating with his new CD (naïve) Belle Epoque, made up of French romantic concertos. Remaining faithful to this site and to the Fondation Bru Zane, the musicians of the Diotima Quartet will be back with on June 2nd with George Onslow, whom they have been championing.
